Education, Training & Development Center
The Education, Training & Development Center (ET&D) is a 2,000 square feet laboratory within ARC:Hydrogen that is dedicated to education and training. The center will contain equipment related to the hydrogen economy and will be available for training personnel and integrating technician training on installation and maintenance of hydrogen equipment.
An educational program focused on K-12 will allow classes to tour and see firsthand how hydrogen and fuel-cell related equipment work. It will serve as a space for education and distance learning having a hydrogen center set up within its space. Aiken Technical College is the primary education partner for this space. The ET&D provides the capability to evaluate systems, products and new materials.
Aiken Electric Cooperative has contributed to the construction of the ET&D Center. This opportunity will showcase the advantages of using hydrogen as an energy carrier.
